A breezy evening and gorgeous sunset provided the perfect atmosphere for Melanie and Carey’s romantic winery wedding.
Best part: “Walking through the vineyards at sunset in between dinner courses,” says Melanie. “It was just the two of us with a magnificent sunset sky and, looking back, we could see all of our friends sitting around the beautifully set tables eating, drinking and celebrating.”
Unique touches: Flourish Calligraphy created beautiful Lucite invitations, and the design was then used for personalized menus at each guest’s place setting. Melanie says, “The guests were very impressed that their specific menu selections were listed!”
Adventure awaits: The newlyweds enjoyed a three-week, custom-designed honeymoon (by Jacada Travel), travelling through Ecuador and Peru. Some of the highlights included diving in the Galapagos Islands, trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and mountain biking in the Andes.
What a ride: After the ceremony the couple went for a drive in Carey’s father’s vintage E Type Jaguar, which had been repaired and detailed especially for the wedding.
